Recording Veena

The same fellows are back again to record some voiceovers/backing tracks for their coming drama performance.

Previously we used a Neumann U87 to record the Veena. This time round I chose the M149. Reason? Love to try the compare the difference between a tube microphone and the lack of. Will be heading back to the studio to do the A/B comparison.

The same problems surfaced again like irritating pop-up windows. Bridge noises, fret noises... Maybe it's meant to be. The Gamelan instructor did mention, 'If it's in time, then it's not traditional.'

What do you think?
