Woken from the dead...

I didn't know what to expect initially. Offered to help out as a spare pair of hands. Turned out to be lighting board op for the show. Ian was around also, and he did up a simple rig from whatever's hanging. Seriously speaking, I've pretty much lost my touch. Hence I would need to tech more with such shows. :)

Not sure what's the concept behind the control room design.

1st, the ridiculous glass windows keeps reflecting control room lights when you are looking at the rig outside. Sometimes when you get engrossed, you'll realised that the control room down lights magically appears outside.

2nd, the stupid structure pipe that runs round the whole room horizontally, is effective blocking my line of sight to the stage.

One last complain is not about the room, but whenever I bump the channels/subs, there seems like a 2-second fade-in. Checked dimmer profile on the ETC Express, seems to be linear. Dimmer module can't be found, not sure where is it. I'll need to check in with the gang at work.

Only after the 2nd band, when I was bored and decided to take this shot, I just realised... It's a 5-hour show !!!!!!!!! Now is to decide whether this statement is a complain or content?
